Abhay is joined by his cousin, the wonderfully talented and authentic Shibani (Dandekar)Akhtar, the Mumbai based Indian-Australian artist, singer, host/anchor, model, and actor. She is soon to be launching a production house. They chatted about family, life in a pandemic, Shibani's journey, and her thoughts on success and longevity in the entertainment industry.

When I think of the incredible change to our collective culture this past year, it reminds me of the level setting and foundational gratitude that I’ve personally experienced. Among the great surprises for me have been the wonderful reconnections and rediscoveries that I’ve been thankful to make with family and friends, both old and new. While it has been a horrible pandemic that has taken away lives and reshaped our global existence, it has brought an appreciation for not feeling alone and a curiosity to learn more about people and their purpose...hey .. that’s the very essence of this show and podcast! So as I made this 25th episode, I wanted to catch up with my cousin, Shibani Dandekar, to reconnect and share a conversation. I hadn’t chatted with her in a long while, and I was reminded of her intelligent reflection and incredibly kind heart that’s been a signature of her versatile career. She’s been a singer, an anchor and host - most notably in professional cricket, an actor and model, and now soon to be a producer. We talked a bit about her journey and outlook, some of the lessons learned during the pandemic, but started off by chatting about the basics….how we’re actually related.
